Welcome to the latest updates from the GEOAI group at the Lebanese National Center for Remote Sensing - CNRS! As discussions surrounding the Fordow nuclear facility intensify, we present a detailed InSAR assessment of the June 22, 2025 strike conducted by the United States.
🚀Fordow Revisited
In our last July newsletter, we shared the results of the United States strikes on the Fordow nuclear facility, analysed using SAR Coherent Change Detection.
As tensions rise in the region once again, new InSAR analyses of the site have circulated within the community. However, several of these results appear questionable or lack methodological clarity. To provide a more robust perspective, we conducted our own analysis using Sentinel-1 SAR data, applying rigorous processing workflows to ensure reliable deformation and change detection insights.
